With Textured Rock Holds, your little one will be climbing all over these rocks. Give them these textured rock holds to climb up with so they can refine their climbing ability. Building up their body strength and helping their hand eye coordination even while they are having fun. When they have mastered the ability to climb the rocks change them up to make them a bit more difficult. You can switch up there positioning by unscrewing the mounting hardware and placing and moving the rock into another location. Putting these textured rock holds up on your swing set will always keep your kiddos on their toes.

These are molded rocks with an easy grip texture surface. They are not smooth like the cheaper and smaller brand you might see. This is a set of twelve in three different shapes and sizes. Each rock has two mounting holes and comes with all mounting hardware. The colors available are blue and green. These rock holds are made for backyard residential use only. You also can buy individual ones if you need more than twelve. They are $3.00 ea. which includes shipping.

Do you have some questions about the textured rock holds? Not sure what the difference is between textured rock holds and composite sand rock holds? Swing Set Stuff Inc. is always here to answer all of your inquiries.

Perfect replacement for Cedar Summit (Costco) playset rock wall

Posted by Unknown on 22nd May 2017

I've got a Cedar Summit playset from Costco that is probably 6 or 7 years old. I was looking for affordable rock holds to replace the faded multi-colored ones that came with the set. These were a perfect fit with the mounting holes 2" on center.

    Partially Textured Rocks

Posted by Unknown on 12th May 2017

These wall rocks seems to be pretty sturdy and the hardware well made. But the rocks are not textured all over, just on the outside as you look at them. But the surface around and behind the edges where your fingers grab is totally smooth. I wish their website did not describe these as textured for better grip.

    Son loves this!

Posted by Unknown on 2nd May 2017

The rocks themselves are good quality and hardware is sturdy. The only problem was some of the larger rocks must have been thicker and the screws were not long enough to catch on the anchor to screw in. It required either the washer to be removed or longer screws, we purchased longer screws since we felt the washers were vital to the integrity of the rock. My son loves climbing these!

    Perfect for backyard playset

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Aug 2016

Bought 2 sets of the large rocks and 3 sets of the small rocks for 2 backyard climbing walls. Rocks are attached to 5/4" boards (per the instructions). 2 of the 3 shapes attached with no issues, however one of the shapes is thicker at the bolt location, and the included bolts were not long enough. We had to bore out about a 1/4" on the back of the 5/4" deck board to inset the T-nut, then we were able to install. The other 2 shapes were fine once the T-nut was fully seated into the board. Rocks look great, and the kids love climbing!

Great price, fast (and free) shipping.

    Climbing Grips

Posted by Tom D on 14th Jun 2016

I really looked around a LOT before purchasing these rock climbing grips, but ended up purchasing these grips because they came with a much beefier hardware than what I had seen elsewhere online. Not sure if these "Large" grips are really any bigger than the regular size they also sell here, but they seem to be a good size for the project I am about to use them for.

Good buy for the money. The climbing wall I built for my youngest daughter is a hit.
